“The Old Mog” is a band from Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
They adeptly showcase modern rock music infused with a vintage musical style,seamlessly blending nuances of blues, resonances of surf guitars, and the allure of romantic folk songs.
Formed in 2012, the band has since released three distinguished recorded works: “Doggerel,” “Poor People,” and “Xiaogang Romance.” Throughout the years,they have consistently engaged in vibrant performances at a multitude of venues and events within the scene of independent music.
Their exceptional talent and artistic contributions have earned them two nominations at the prestigious Golden Indie Music Awards, with a resounding triumph in the coveted category of “Best Rock Album” at the 8th Golden Indie Music Awards ceremony.
