COLD DEW

COLD DEW are formed in mid-2018, and consists of Zhe-An, Lin (lead vocal, guitar), Cheng-Chun, Wu (guitar), Yu-Cheng, Tsai (bass), and  Cheng-Hung, Wu (drums). This band takes the “COLD DEW” in the 24 solar terms as the band name, so as to fit the appearance they want to present in music, wet and cold.

The style of COLD DEW’s music is mostly noise, psychedelic, blues, and shoegaze; in terms of sound presentation, which emphasizes manic and soaring, strongly distorted guitars and violent drums; The singing part refers to the interpretation of Chinese and Taiwanese songs in the 1970s and 1980s; Finally, the lyrics are based on the personal state of mind and the state of all things in nature, so as to express our experience of spying on the world. 

However, without explicit reference, listeners can construct their own stories at will. In addition, they are also devoted to the collocation between lyrics and songs, expecting to make the two highly compatible in terms of artistic conception and imagination, thereby presenting a sense of picture.

COLD DEW has released live recordings in early 2020 of “2020.02.23 LIVE AT REVOLVER” through the two labels, Petit Alp Records and Popkisspunk Records(HK). Then, in October 2021, the EP “Yu Yu” was released ,In 2022, WV Sorcerer Productions from France released  “Yu Yu“‘s vinyl record. During this period, in addition to numerous performances in Taiwan, we also toured in Mainland China and Malaysia.

In 2025, we released our second album, “Taipei Cultural Landscape“,and we plan to launch an Asia, Europe, and North America tour in 2026.
