Wayne’s So Sad is a five-piece rock band based in Taipei. Formed in 2008, their earlier works featured straightforward punk. The band was known as one of “the four heavenly kings of Shida Little Park” by Taipei’s indie music sector. Among these bands, Wayne’s So Sad best illustrates “the depressed generation” as they express the younger generation’s sadness, upset, and rebellion in their songs.

After many years life as a band, the anger and confusion of youth have faded away. Wayne’s So Sad is trying to tell you stories about love — gently and beautifully, one after another.
