Face the world head-on, just as you truly are.
EmptyORio is formed by vocalist Yuchen, drummer Keguang, guitarist Mu, and bassist Lei Shei.
“With our truest selves, we face the world head-on.”
Known for their explosive and passionate live performances, the band combines a wild and unconventional appearance with deeply emotional and delicate songwriting.
Starting out from a private Facebook group, the four members quickly gained a loyal following through their uniquely captivating live shows. Their powerful stage presence has made them regular performers at major music festivals. Whether on stage or online, EmptyORio connects with their audience with zero distance—raw, direct, and honest.
Feeling lost or uncertain? That’s okay.
Let’s party while we search for the answers together.
Who says fast songs have to sound happy?
Breaking away from traditional expectations of upbeat music, EmptyORio uses dynamic arrangements to ignite emotions—transforming impulses, loneliness, passion, confusion, and those late-night thoughts that no one else hears into powerful musical expression.
In 2018, the band released their self-titled debut album “EmptyORio,” opening a brand new chapter in their musical journey. Every note and melody reflects years of musical refinement—carrying both a deep love for music and their interpretations of life itself, all distilled into the sound of EmptyORio.
Their 2021 album “Don’t Believe It Won’t Change” marked the next stage of their musical path. The record is filled with emotional loops of joy, helplessness, and confusion, expressed through bright, powerful rhythms and melodies that capture the subtle emotions of everyday life.
As the album puts it:
“Faith becomes the courage to resist. Following the traces that have fallen, we meet between the past and the future.”
This journey is not only EmptyORio’s exploration of themselves, but also a release of emotions shared by every listener.
On this musical road, Zheng Yuchen and his bandmates continue moving forward side by side—looking forward to the day when we may all meet a better version of ourselves.
